Puente de Lusitania in Merida, Spain.

Puente Lusitania, or Lusitania Bridge, is a bridge designed by architect Santiago Calatrava. It was finished in 1991 and it crosses the Guadiana river in the city of Merida.

Merida is the capital of the autonomous community of Extremadura, western central Spain. The Archaeological Ensemble of Mérida has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1993.
