Schiphol is the main international airport of the Netherlands, located 20 minutes southwest of Amsterdam, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. It is the fourth busiest airport in Europe in terms of passengers.
Schiphol is the primary hub for KLM and its regional affiliate KLM Cityhopper. The airport also serves as a hub for Easyjet and as a European hub for Delta Air Lines and as a base for Vueling.
The airport's official English name, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, reflects the original Dutch word order (Luchthaven Schiphol).
